Heady aroma of muscat grapes, grilled pineapple and a touch of fresh banana.
Beautiful refined mouth feel and smooth texture with the leading rich fruity character morphing into a drier finish with both savoury and herbal highlights. This complexity is refreshing and works particularly well with a large range of tastes on the table.
Matches particularly well with briny oysters and sautéed seafood, scallops mornay, calamari fritti and clam bake. Drink with salads full of herbs and vegetables, vegetable risotto and quiche. Lightly braised dishes such as lamb ribs and chicken casserole. Try this sake with a dish including blue cheese – in a cheese platter or a blue cheese dressing.
Serve chilled in tulip-shaped glass to capture aroma.
Store in the refrigerator at all times if possible as it has had one pasteurisation only. After opening definitely keep refrigerated.
